You know, I really don't understand how an ms paint drawing isn't noticed by the DeviantArt staff, yet a photograph from a nude series I did was moved to my Scraps by them because it had "low resolution". I just don't fucking get it--does the fact I have shitty camera have anything to do with my art? Okay, yeah it does...But it doesn't mean it's without merit! I try to post my art, and it gets thrown into the scrap pile by those assholes, because I happen to not be able to afford a shiny new digital camera. I fucking tried, alright? I had an idea and I thought it was something but I guess it's just a piece of fucking scrap paper.

Sorry, camera woes...If anyone wants to see what I've been working on, it'll be in the scraps I guess.

But this is art/drama related.
Grease, I'm Frenchy, BHS.
Opening night for me tomorrow...Nerves always get the best of me. Usually just by the time I get makeup and costume on, then
I get that feeling in my stomach, and my eyes tear up, and the next thing I know, my makeup is ruined.
But once I get up in those sweltering lights, into those watchful eyes....it just gets worse, heh.
Finally though, all the memorization kicks in, and the steps and the notes and the lines just flow from me, and it's heaven. It's so real.
I am Frenchy.
Most peopel usually don't really LIKE Grease, most just go because they're supporting a family member or friend. Grease is an annoying play that most actors try to steer clear of. But it happens, oh it happens.
Notice I said most, because there are some people who convince themselves it's an alright thing to love Grease. But it's really unnatural.
heh.
Anyone else have any Grease stories? Or play stories in general?
